Your words stay on your Mac.

Lazy Quips is a local macOS app for saved phrases, AI prompt snippets, and quick replies. Your phrase library stays on your Mac without an account, analytics, tracking, or cloud sync.

Local storage

Lazy Quips stores app data locally on your Mac.

If you enable launch at login, that setting is stored locally and can be turned off in the app.

No developer backend, analytics, or tracking

Lazy Quips does not send app data to a developer-operated server.

Lazy Quips does not use accounts, cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, tracking SDKs, or AI model calls.

App Store purchases

Apple processes payments for subscriptions and one-time purchases, and handles restores and entitlement checks through StoreKit and the App Store.

Lazy Quips receives localized product information, purchase results, and verified entitlement status from Apple. It stores only a minimal access status on this Mac to display purchase options and grant, restore, or verify paid access.

Lazy Quips and its developer do not receive or have access to payment card or bank account details. Your phrase library—including phrase text and shortcuts—is not sent to Apple through StoreKit or to a developer-operated server.

Retention and deletion

Saved phrases can be deleted in the app. Phrase data, recent-use data, settings, and the minimal access status remain in Lazy Quips app data on your Mac until you delete the corresponding content or remove that app data.

Lazy Quips has no developer-operated server copy of your local app data and cannot remotely delete data stored on your Mac. Apple manages App Store purchase and subscription records under its own privacy terms; removing local Lazy Quips data does not delete Apple's records.
